Know The Artist
Divine Connection (DC), formed on September 30, 2004, is a
Christian Rock band from Kohima, Nagaland. Known for their
experimental style, they blend genres such as Folk, Blues, Rock,
Funk, Jazz, Hindi, and contemporary Gospel music. DC stands for
promoting a positive lifestyle, believing that young people can
enjoy music and life without the influences of drugs, alcohol,
violence, or immorality. They consider their greatest achievement
to be “winning the hearts of people,” and aim to continue touching
lives through their music.
With hundreds of performances across India and abroad, DC
released their self-titled EP and full-length album El-Roi in 2008.
Both projects received widespread praise and support from fans and
well-wishers around the world. In addition to their success as a
band, each of the members has gained recognition for their
exceptional musical talents, becoming influential figures in the
music community. Their diverse musical interests give Divine
Connection its dynamic, ever-evolving sound.
Pink Eye is a six-member Pop/Rock band from Northeast India, formed in early
2023. What began as a group performing cover songs soon evolved into a
powerful original act known for its raw emotion, high energy, and tight live
performances. Rooted in passion and expressive songwriting, the band creates
music that feels honest, intense, and alive.
Drawing inspiration from early-2000s alternative rock icons like Paramore and IV
of Spades, shaping their energetic sound and emotionally driven style. What sets
Pink Eye apart is their non-traditional band dynamic. With two guitarists,
keyboards, and a solid rhythm section, each member plays a distinct role –
creating a fuller, more textured sound that goes beyond a basic rock setup. At the
heart of the band is vocalist Guraans Thapa, whose expressive delivery adds
vulnerability and intensity to every performance.
Young yet determined, Pink Eye thrives on connection both within the band and
with their audience. With an electrifying stage presence and a strong creative
identity, Pinkeye continues to carve its own path, driven by authenticity, growth,
and a deep love for live music.
Flying Arcades is a high-energy three-piece rock band from Kohima, Nagaland, fueled by the raw spirit of
alternative music. Established as a power trio, the band draws from a wide spectrum of alternative
influences, including bands like The Clash, Pixies, Queen and Radiohead, they have cultivated a creative
identity that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
By stripping away the unnecessary, the band focuses on the bare essentials: sharp riffs, driving rhythms,
and engaging storytelling. Their music is built on a simple yet profound philosophy that every song should
serve as an escape and every performance as a platform for unfiltered self-expression.
At heart, an artist and musician, they find meaning in the quiet beauty of life’s simplest moments. Rooted in a deep sense of faith and guided by The Word, their journey is one of intention, reflection, and expression.
Their work is inspired by the gentle art of living embracing simplicity, celebrating creativity, and finding joy in both sound and silence. Through art and music, they seek to connect, to inspire, and to encourage a more mindful and sustainable way of life.
