This policy explains how Imkumnaro Kichu (“OnCue”, “we”) collects and uses your personal data when you use oncue.in. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, phone number and password (stored encrypted).
- Booking details: events and tickets you book, attendee names, order history and check-in times.
- Payments: payment status and transaction references. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment partners, not stored by us. For direct UPI payments we keep the UTR number and the screenshot you send as proof.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and cookies needed for login, cart and security.
How we use it
- To create your account, process bookings and payments, and send e-tickets and booking emails.
- To check tickets at the entrance and prevent fraud and misuse.
- To answer your questions and handle refunds and complaints.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
We do not sell your personal data. We send marketing emails only if you agree, and every such email has an unsubscribe option.
Who we share it with
- Event Organisers: attendee name, email and phone number, and registration details for their event – needed for entry, communication and safety.
- Service providers: payment gateways, hosting, email delivery – only what they need to provide their service.
- Authorities: when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep account and booking data while your account is active and for as long as tax and accounting law requires afterwards (usually up to 8 years for invoices).
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to connect@oncue.in. Some data must be kept to meet legal requirements. You can also update your details under My account.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for login, cart, checkout and security. If we add analytics cookies, they are used only to understand how the Website is used.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption, access controls and trusted providers to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private.
